More Than Theatre

More Than Theatre · Production

The projections in our shows aren’t stock footage. We make them ourselves.

Original films, music and animation for the stage and the classroom. Everything projected in our plays is made here.

How it’s made

Every play is produced twice: once on screen and once on stage.

First, the script and the songs. Then, the animation for each scene. Finally, the actresses rehearse with the finished projection.

How we work

Who does what

  • Writing and directing

We write and direct our own plays. Every production is created with its own values, story and teaching guide.

  • Original music

We compose the songs for each play and record them before the tour.

  • Animation

We animate every scene specifically for the staging.

  • It’s all ours

Scripts, music, animation and projections are original and owned by the company.

Every play has its own visual world, and nothing is reused between productions.
